This quick Prague getaway was the perfect introduction to one of Europe’s most beautiful capitals. With its fairy-tale architecture, historic bridges, and vibrant energy, Prague feels like stepping into a storybook. We maximized our short time with walking tours of the Old Town, Castle District, and riverside views, plus great Czech beer and traditional food. Ideal for a long weekend or city break.
Getting There & Practical Info

Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1 – Old Town & Riverside Charm
- Start with the Royal Way — the historic coronation route leading into the heart of the city.
- Head to Old Town Square (Prague’s bustling centerpiece): Watch the Astronomical Clock show and peek inside the Church of Our Lady Before Týn (stunning Gothic architecture).
- Visit the elegant Rudolfinum Concert Hall.
- Explore the Jewish Quarter (Josefov) for its poignant history and synagogues.
- Walk along the Vltava River toward the iconic Dancing House (a modern architectural contrast).

I honestly have nothing bad to say about Prague, it is a beautiful city and one of my favorite in Europe. Every part of this trip was worth it!
